Welcome to projectbrainsaver on blogger.com
(-:
The word projectbrainsaver is one word, all lower case (projectbrainsaver in itself isn't important enough to warrant a Capital P!)
Just add the words project and brain and saver together!
Why projectbrainsaver?
Having been mentally ill I needed something to keep me as sane as was possible and, although there were times when even projectbrainsaver seemed to be a grand sign of an even grander madness, it did actually keep my head together when no one else was bothering with my head, my problems or my life.
When I was ill I thought I was capable of going to university - foolish, deluded man that I was. I went to Aberystwyth to do a G500 Computer Science BSc.
I wanted to carry on the project that lead to projectbrainsaver but was told I would have to do as I was told to for the first year and then maybe I could work on my project as my actual second/third year project.
It was whilst I was learing all of this new stuff that I was asked to do an assignment on Chaos Theory and all the business' that used chaos as part of their reason d'etre.
I was looking for a tool, or set of tools, that could coordinate and hand out the answers needed for the situation or sum offered.
I called what I found my Chaotic Compiler.
I couldn't stay at Aberystwyth - about as mentally stable as a rabid squirrel!
I kept looking for this - kit and one day heard about Mike Lynch and Autonomy - from the horses mouth itself - Dr Lynch talking about Bayes and Shannon and the technology that had been found thanks to the Rev Thomas and his sums.
That was the start of the next phase of the life long quest - for a bit of kit that could offer unbiased, correct info when asked for.
projectbrainsaver was born in 2002/2003 after a spate of giant fits that nearly killed me
a brain saving project for the mad man in my life
(-:
projectbrainsaver isn't about saving the world or changing society in itself, although I did have a look at the sorts of uses it could quite happily deal with
projectbrainsaver is about technology that has been capable of doing so much more for people but has, until now, been used for company uses.
Take the words used to describe all the businessy techy things that this sort of kit can do and change its taxonomy to that of the every day person.
Instead of using what info comes in from the client to upsell to the client why not offer that info to the client so the client can get to know themselves better
Add a fairly simple AI engine to feed the words back to the client in order to pinpoint exactly what the client wants to achieve and you have a gizmo / gadget that listens and comprehends quicker than a human - even then (2000-2004) and comes back at you with something that helps you
Everyone agreed it could be built (good list of everyones as well - including Autonomy!)
But....
I was ill and getting worse
.... so I went on and had a heart attack and got suicidally depressed and my brain screwed up and then the medicines they gave me for my heart and my epilepsy started to work together and
well, I soon started to get back to where my head had felt good
and I started talking to people about this idea again
projectbrainsaver just wouldn't die.
The use of high tech business kit and spy kit for personal use, to help life work better, help when help is needed
Help with life's little, and not so little, battles
