#tweetstorm4gary postponed « #TweetsStorm's in support of Gary Mckinnon
Due to crircumstances that need to be addressed concerning whether #tweetstorm4gary breaches the official Twitter ‘spam’ guidelines – todays storm has been postponed.
Its not that its not going to happen – its just not going to happen right now.
I do apologise to everyone who has helped get the message out there about the planned #tweetstorm and to all who have indicated they will assist and take part.
I cannot proceed for a very simple reason – I do not wish to associate the – #freegary campaign with Spam.
As such – #tweetstorm4gary will shortly publish an update with a link where you can ‘login with Twitter’ in the same way as you can do on any other Twitter based site – this is necessary to circumvent any allegations of Spam from genuine Gary Mckinnon supporters.
THEY may not play fair in their attempts to extradite Gary – but we believe in doing things ‘the Proper’ way !
