HelpAge International helps older people claim their rights, challenge discrimination and overcome poverty, so that they can lead dignified, secure, active and healthy lives.
Our work is strengthened through our global network of like-minded organisations – the only one of its kind in the world.
Last year we helped change the lives of 1.5 million older people worldwide.

Meet the people behind Helpage:
The HelpAge network is a unique worldwide alliance standing up for the rights of older people.
We have 80 affiliates in more than 50 countries.
We are accountable to all our key stakeholders, above all the older men and women with and for whom we work.
Five organisations in Canada, Colombia, Kenya, India and the UK set up the HelpAge International network in 1983.
