CHINESE authorities say they are preparing themselves for "war" in Tibet as a spate of self-immolations and related street protests against Beijing's rule continues.
The latest in a run of 21 self-immolations happened on Thursday in the county town of Aba in the Tibetan part of the southwestern Chinese province of Sichuan amid reports of more troops being sent to the area.
